| A conservative estimate finds that over 5,000 organs have been installed in the five boroughs of New York City over the years! The NYC Organ Project pages contain information about organs—present and past—in the city's institutions, houses of worship, theatres and residences. There is a section for each borough of New York City. Compiling this information is an ongoing activity, and we ask for your assistance in providing information and photos. A venue webpage will be created when specifications for at least one of the venue's organs can be located. Please contact the webmaster if you can assist us. |
