The RKO Dyker Theatre, originally planned as the 86th Street Theatre, opened on November 26, 1926. Architect Matthew W. Del Gaudio designed the 2,142-seat theatre that cost $400,000.

After the Dyker closed in the 1970s, the building was converted into retail space.
