The 1,450-seat Luxor Theatre opened in 1923, and was designed in the Egyptian style. It was located on 170th Street near Grand Concourse in the Mt. Eden section of the Bronx. After closing the former Luxor served as a liquor store and is now a supermarket.

This two-manual Estey organ was installed in the 1,400-seat Luxor Theatre. Estey provided a luminous electric console to control the 32 stops and traps. The organ was voiced on 6" wind pressure.
