The Frances Schervier Home and Hospital was founded in the late 1930s. Located on seven acres overlooking the Hudson River in Riverdale, the nursing serves an aging population with almost half of the residents coping with Alzheimers.Today the facility is known as the Frances Schervier Nursing Care Center.

In 1964, the M.P. Möller Company installed a six-rank "Artiste" organ in the Frances Schervier Home & Hospital. All pipes were enclosed in a single cabinet, and the organ was controlled by a two-manual console with roll top. Wind pressure was 3-3/4" for the trebles and 4-1/2" for the offsets.
