Park Avenue Christian Church moved to its present building in 1945, which was originally built for the old South Dutch Reformed Church in 1911. Cram, Goodhue, and Ferguson designed the building with inspiration from Sainte Chapelle in Paris.

The Jarman Memorial Organ, which replaced the original Robjohn/Roosevelt/Casavant organ, was a gift of Clementine Miller Tangeman. It was built in 1982 by the Holtkamp Organ Company of Cleveland, Ohio, as Opus 1967. The mechanical-action organ is encased in the rear gallery and frames a large Tiffany window with pedal towers on each side; the Great is in front of the two enclosed divisions in the center, and the detached console is below.

Roosevelt rebuilt the 1860 Robjohn organ for the previous South Dutch Reformed Church, located at the corner of Fifth Avenue and 21st Street. The organ was later moved in 1911 to their new church building on Park Avenue.

In 1932, the existing Odell organ was replaced by a new instrument built by the W.W. Kimball Co. of Chicago. The specifications were by R. P. Elliot in consultation with Hugh Porter, who dedicated the organ on October 12, 1932.
