For the present building, the eminent American sculptor, Louise Nevelson, designed a breath-taking sculptural environment in white and gold—the Chapel of the Good Shepherd—an oasis of prayer and meditation.

The Chapel of the Good Shepherd houses a “Portative” organ built by Klais Orgelbau of Bonn, Germany. This organ, of red oak to match the furnishings in the chapel, is movable and can be used as a continuo organ in the sanctuary.
