On behalf of the over 500 members of the New York City Chapter, I welcome you to our website. We hope you enjoy your cyberstay with us.
We are an extremely diverse chapter privileged to be in one of the great cultural centers of the country. As such, many of our members are leaders in our profession and in our city. Opportunities abound with subscription concert series, organ recitals, and worship services all at the highest level of music making. You can find the most up-to-date information by checking the concert calendar which can always be found on our website.
Among many events the New York City Chapter has hosted include the 1996 National Centennial Convention, and the largest Pipe Organ Encounter ever presented which was a part of our 2003 season. We are looking forward to hosting the Region II Convention in 2007 and we invite you to attend!
Our Chapter also offers an interesting and educational series of events each year which include organ concerts and master classes given by internationally known artists. These are presented in various venues throughout the city. Our annual Presidents' Day Weekend is always a stimulating and refreshing event designed to ward off the winter doldrums. We also sponsor special social occasions which are always quite popular among our members. Of course these will always be listed in a timely fashion here on our website.
